At Sweet Peas, our aim is to provide specialized in-home postpartum and prenatal care and support for the new mother and her family.

A Sweet Peas Doula or Baby Nurse will provide any or all of the following services, depending on clients needs:

• Mother care
• Newborn and sibling care
• Multiple births
• Postpartum women's health & nutrition
• Breast and bottle feeding support
• Light meal preparation
• Baby laundry >Days, nights and around the clock care
• Layette shopping/nursery organization

All Sweet Peas Doulas are professionally trained in; childbirth recovery, early infant care, breastfeeding support and are Infant CPR certified. All Sweet Peas Doulas and Baby Nurses carry professional liability insurance, and have been given extensive background and reference checks.

CLIENT'S NEEDS ARE DETERMINED AT A PRENATAL VISIT/INTERVIEW

We like to meet and interview with our clients personally to determine what their postpartum needs will be well before the baby ever arrives. This allows us to assess the best match with the right Doula or Baby Nurse for Mom and Baby. It is important that the Doula we provide for you, gels smoothly within the dynamics of your entire family.

WHAT ARE THE TYPICAL HOURS OF SERVICE FOR DOULA OR BABY NURSE?

• 8 hour minimum per shift.
• 40 hour minimum per week.
• We provide days, nights & 24 hour service 7 days a week.
